2003 Summer Undergraduate Research Experiences in Cosmology

CfCP Research areas include theoretical, observational, and experimental cosmology:Link to Wayne Hu home page

  • Formation of large-scale structure in the early Universe
  • The Cosmic Microwave Background (CMB)
  • Characterization of the dark energy and dark matter in the universe
  • Understanding the possible role of an inflationary period in the early universe
  • Probing particle interactions at high energies with astrophysical phenomena

Link to Large Scale Structure Summer Research Experiences will support these efforts through the construction of instrumentation, data analysis, and theoretical calculations.
