It is going to take place in Zewail City campus in 6th of October City, near historic Giza, Egypt.

The Conference will bring together theoretical physicists working on different approaches to quantum gravity, and its applications to cosmological models as well as in the early universe with the goal of getting a deeper understanding and fresh insights into some of the fundamental problems in cosmology and quantum gravity.

We are organizing a 3 day workshop at SFU Harbour Centre in Vancouver, January 15-17, 2015, on various ways of testing gravity - cosmological, astrophysical and terrestrial. The workshop will bring together experimentalists, observers and theorists, with a mixture of invited and contributed talks, and plenty of time for discussions. Topics will include

- Pulsars, black holes and other astrophysical tests
- Gravitational wave detectors
- Terrestrial tests, gravity on short distances
- Cosmological probes - CMB, 21cm, redshift surveys, weak lensing
- Modified gravity theories
- Model-independent frameworks for testing gravity

Because the meeting deals with the overlap between all these different research areas, we plan a 1-day school on Wednesday, January 14, as an option for people who would like to catch up to speed on areas outside their normal research focus.

Testing Gravity is a topical theme, in part because of the growing interest in modified gravity theories motivated by the unexplained nature of dark matter and dark energy, and in part by improving technologies that open opportunities for new types of tests. We hope that you will consider coming to our workshop and will appreciate if you forward this announcement to your colleagues, including postdocs and graduate students.

We are pleased to announce that the IAS together with the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN) will be organizing the

2nd IAS School on Particle Physics & Cosmology and Implications for Technology

from 2 to 6 February 2015 at the Nanyang Executive Centre, NTU. The School is strongly supported by participating institutions such as the Institute of High Energy Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences and the NTU School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences.

The School aims to provide advanced graduate students and young postdocs and faculty from Asia and elsewhere with a high-profile platform to keep up-to-date with the latest discoveries and advances not just in their own field of research, but also the broader trends and perspectives in related fields beyond. The program is composed of core lectures and discussion sessions by distinguished lecturers. The School will also include special seminars by distinguished visitors on particle physics, cosmology and implications for applied physics and technology. The physics themes include the Standard Model of Particle Physics and Beyond, Frontiers in Cosmology, the Nature of the Neutrino, CP Violation, and Physics of Technology.

The "Neutrino Telescopes" is one of the most prestigious international event in the field of Physics. It takes place every two years and dates back to 1988 when Prof. Milla Baldo Ceolin conceived it and launched the first edition. It became soon a crucial event and it is now considered a consolidated appointment where to discuss the latest discoveries and the fascinating future scenarios in topics that range from Neutrinos to Astrophysics and Cosmology.

The program will be structured in plenary sessions with invited talks followed by discussions.
There will be also a poster session, aiming at involving particularly, but not limited to, young researchers with new brilliant ideas on the workshop's topics of interest.

The Workshop will take place from March 2nd to March 6th, 2015.

The Tri-Institute Summer School on Elementary Particles (TRISEP-2015) is an exciting annual summer school on elementary particles. I am writing to ask for your assistance in drawing the attention of graduate students in subatomic physics to this school. This year the school will take place at the Perimeter Institute, during the two weeks of July 6 - 17, 2015. The school's website can be accessed through www.trisep.ca, where students can also register online.

We have a very strong program intended for graduate students of all levels who are already familiar with the basics of quantum field theory. The program covers five topics:

but will include a session on its history, with some

you are cordially invited to attend COSMO-15, the 19th International Conference on Particle Physics and Cosmology, which will be held in Warsaw, Poland, from 7 to 11 September 2015.

Starting in Ambleside, UK, in 1997, COSMO rapidly became the main annual meeting of theorists working at an interface of particle physics, cosmology and astrophysics.

Registration and abstract submissions of a contributed parallel talk or poster are open via the meeting’s website http://cosmo15.ncbj.gov.pl/. The deadline for abstracts is 15 June 2015 and for paying early registration fees is 4 July 2015.
