"Multifrequency Brightness of Galactic Dark Matter"
ABSTRACT
The rare annihilations of WIMPS accumulated in the Galaxy
are responsible for emission in several frequency bands,
each one able to provide us with precious information about
the properties of the WIMP particle candidate. I will discuss
mainly two cases: 1) diffuse gamma ray emission from a clumpy
halo; 2) Electron-positron production and their synchrotron
radiation in clumpy structures.
The latter point represents a completely new way of looking
for WIMP annihilation in the Galaxy, by searching for perturbations
of the very well known anisotropies of the cosmic microwave
background.
