I almost overslept this show, but made it to the station just in time. Other than that, everything was awesome.

I don't really have any comments about this show. It was fun. You can tell that I liked the Born Against 7″ because I played the whole side.
Also, I just found out that the Innocents were the subjects of a tv documentary while they tried to play shows and get a record deal. This was way back in 1982! And I thought that Making the Band was so original.

09 November 05 08:45RFC / whpk dj night

The dj night thing went off well. We got several requests to turn up the volume, so that is a good sign. Also, I got a free pint of beer and some games of bowling out of it!

07 November 05 11:46DJ Night at Seven Ten Lanes

This Wednesday night, I will actually be djing in front of real live people at Seven Ten Lanes (also known as Lucky Strike) in Hyde Park. It might be a disaster, but people should come check it out. There is information available at http://whpk.uchicago.edu/events/djnight. I will be on first (at 8pm) and have some good punk rock in mind. Thanks to J. from Radio Zero for inviting me and the people at Radio Free Chicago for putting this on.
We will see how it all goes...

This was a fun show just after my return from Boston. I think that Jenn's influence shows up with all of the pop songs (plus she's been telling me to play Grey Machine for weeks now). The Moldy Peaches were a good time: "I'm just a huge manatee"
